Hello, my name is [Jamie Hiltner]! What else you should know about me: Jamie is a fourth year senior at NDSU. He is majoring in Public History with a minor in Anthropology. When he graduates he would like to work in history museums. The monument that i Will be doing is the Great War memorial in Wahpeton. Prospectus: In 1927 in the city of Wahpeton put up a monument called over the top to honor the officers and men who served in the "Great War". The monument was created by John Paulding and has the 1,018 names of the men who served engraved on three plaques at the base of the monument. The majority of my research will come from the Wahpeton Globe newspaper as well as other primary source.
