Amanda Peterson was born in Fargo, North Dakota. Excluding one minor stint in Florida, she has lived there all of her life. She first gained a love of history from her parents, one which has grown with her over the years. She would especially like to thank her high school history teacher, Professor Oberholtzer, who not only expanded her love of History but also taught her the valuable lesson of being critical of historical documents. Amanda is currently pursuing a degree in Public History at North Dakota State University.
